OMAGH UNIFORM EXCHANGE WELCOMES YOU

  • alt.text.label.Facebook

Colours of community

Omagh Uniform exchange is a community collective that aims to return all our children to school each September without burdening families without exuberant costs. We accept donated items of uniform from those in a position to donate and we distribute these to families who need them.  There is no hierarchy of need and the uniform exchange is open to anyone in the community who would like to recycle uniforms and reduce the costs of sending children to school.

Make a donation to us

All our uniforms are free of charge.  The only income we have is from donations made in cash during public opening or through the just giving page.  Unfortunately, we still have many of the same expenses as other organisations so we are very grateful for any money towards our running costs.

2022 was the first year we asked for donations, up to that point, expenses were met by the volunteers.  The uniform exchange has got too large now for us to sustain it financially ourselves.  We need your help!

If you are in a position to do so, please make a small donation towards out running costs, this will make us more sustainable and able to service our community.

ABOUT US

Omagh Uniform Exchange was set up in July 2020 and since then has grown to service over 64 schools in the greater Omagh area. The uniform exchange is stocked by generous donations from members of the community who no longer require the uniforms.

During August each year, we open to the public to enable families to kit out their children for the return to school.  During the year we are there for you if you need us.

The Uniform exchange is free at the point of service.  There is no charge for any items and all we ask is that you only take what you need.  We won't ask what you need or why you need it.  We trust our service users and we believe in the spirit of human goodness.

The uniform exchange is for everyone in our community.  Whatever your reasons for using us, you are very, very welcome.

WAYS WE HELP

We cater for and carry items for over 64 schools in the greater Omagh area.

Our catchment area is from Castlederg to Ballygawley and all Nursery, primary and post-primary schools in between.

If you need us outside the summer public opening, all you have to do is give us a call, drop us a message or contact us through our socials.
